I am looking for a way to do the classic milk to silk effect. But I do not want to use slush powder and I would love to be able to show the glass completely empty before pouring the "milk". I know firecans have a compartment to hold the liquid without the use of the slush powder but they can not be showed empty without putting your finger across the top. Also was thinking of using a slush powder wand. Anyone know of a version out that does not require slush powder? Or a way to do it with an empty glass? TT will not work as I want to be able to pull the silk out with thumb and index finger and no fumbling.

John Fabjance announced he will be making many of the products he use to make in the 1960's, one item I wish I had never gotten rid of was his Foo Mirror Glass, it can do exactly what you request.
Go to his web site and sign up for notification when this item is available.

Bill, thanks so much for your recommendation. A Foo Mirror Glass would be great!

I heard back from John. His response (which was very prompt almost... about a minute or so after I sent the email) was: "Hi Jimmy, we are working on it with improved materials. Thanks, John"
Something for me to look forward to in the new year.

I had a Foo Mirror Glass that I believe was from EZ Magic. The glues used clouded the plastic, making it look obviously gimmicked. I would like to see an improved version, because the basic concept was a good one.

I use to use the Foo Glass from Fabjance, for my Silk to Egg routine. I would break the egg in it, then dump the egg in a newspaper to vanish it. Do have to use the Egg in Paper Plus set up, the only draw back was the shell, I had to put elsewhere as it would not go in with the inner parts of the egg. Or at times would dump (?) the egg in the Don Alan Egg Can instead of using a blown egg. That way I did not have to prepare a new egg for my Malini Egg Bag routine.

Not exactly what the MagicMagician83 was looking for, but I thought I would mention it, just in case.
James Rainho makes a Foo Coffee Mug.

Might be a little tricky to have it change to a silk, but just thought I would mention it.

The original poster was interested in a method without using slush powder, as in pre-slush powder magic tricks.

The crystal goblet will work fine without the slush powder.if you have no need to turn the glass upside down.

I agree the sealed mirror glass is a great choice as well. There is another version on the market the "Diamond Cut Mirror Glass" it is a little cheaper then glass version. This one is made of plastic, so fear of glass going everywhere is dropped is not a concern.

You have to ask John Fabjance. I am not associated with him, just an old customer who has used his products in the past.
