If you like magic, consider joining IBM Ring 50 at its new location in Vienna, VA -- we have a kid's group that meets at 6:15 PM -- "Counts of Conjuring" and then a mini-teach in that goes from 7:30 PM or so until 8 PM (learning techniques, not tricks) then the regular meeting begins at 8 PM -- over by 10 PM. Here's a link to our webpage. Write to me anytime if you have questions or comments at president@ibmring50.org

I.B.M. Ring 50 has move to a permanent location beginning Septermber 6, 2012.
The September 6th meeting will be at Bishop Ireton High School, 201 Cambridge Rd, Alexandria VA at 7:30 PM. Youth group "Counts of Conjuring" meets at 6:15 pm.

The September Ring 50 ‘Stars of Magic’ Teach-in is shaping up for an educational evening to enhance our Art of Magic. The lecturers may present a bit of related magic history, techniques, and then teach a trick or two. Each lecture will last about 30 minutes. Members will choose three of four lectures to attend. Here’s the line-up for the September 6th Teach-in: Buddy Smith, the master of coins will teach some coin routines. Arnold Fuoco will teach us about Close-up Vanishes and Productions. Dwight Redman will teach incredible Self-working Card Tricks. Stan Hilliard teaching rope tricks and techniques.

Hey Danny & Bob, as soon as my next Lung surgery gets completed I need to seriously make a road trip to come up, love the kids idea....I'm home now pretty much fully recovered, no complications no after effects no problems from the Monday surgery on the 13th. Just waiting on biopsy results which will determine if there will even be a 2nd surgery. I'm pretty sure there will be plus if the Parrot diseases come back positive I will have to look for new homes for my 5 Tropical parrots, can't keep going through this fluid build up in the lungs, before the surgery had to go to ER for fluid removal twice where they went in through the back and removed about 2 liters each time just so I could breathe....
Looking forward to a road trip to come see you guys and enjoy what you've got going on!!!

I have not looked it up as of yet. I was able to glance through it is in amazing shape for a first run set. while I'M sure I will sell it eventually I still want to continue to go through it. For those that don't Know I purchased at the auction a first run of the Mailed out sets of Tarbell lessons One through 60 in the original brochure format. It was in the original typeset.
