I have compiled, on a web site, a collection of the magic posters used with the image of the imp on the shoulder of the magician whispering the secrets of the magic. Kellar was of the first to use that image - but you might be amazed to see how many others have used this idea. Look here (there are currently 160 images!):

No, Jeff.... price prohibits my collecting the classis imp images. I have found affordable the excellent reproductions that Norm Nielson makes a suitable collectable - and I have several.

Sure, lots of magi were willing to be pictured with devils and imps, but how many were man enough to let a fairy grace their shoulders?
