According to his bloq "The World Is A Stage" today, Jay Johnson and his producer are making plans to film his Tony Award winning "The Two And Only"
for DVD release this fall. This will be a "must have" for any one who loves Vent. I can't wait!

My wife is a big Soap fan. I'll have to try to get this for her birthday ( I am sure I will watch it too!).

The show is FANTASTIC, in so many ways! I've seen it three times and was hoping Jay would produce a DVD version. Too many have not seen The Two and Only and don't realize that Jay Johnson is truly one of the greats.

I was a big Soap fan, it was that show that got me interested in vent figures. I'll buy a copy of this DVD for sure.

Jay announced in his blog today that the DVD will be shot September 15 in Wilmington, NC and will be available by Christmas.

I attended the matinee and evening tapings of "JJ: Two and Only" yesterday in Wilmington, NC. Fellow vents in attendance included David Crone, Dale Brown, Dave Turner, Lori Bruner, and Mr. Jimmy Nelson. The Thallian Hall theater was beautiful, and the audiences extremely responsive. Big laughs, lots of applause, and, of course, standing O's.
I think the DVD will be great and a real contribution to Jay's legacy. I believe they hope to get it out for X-mas. Now you know what to petition Santa for.
