I'm working on a project to help all magicians. My project is to ask different groups of people, magic and non-magic related alike. I'll be collecting questions and grabbing my camera and hitting the real world to get answers to those questions. Studies require informed consent.
IMHO the basic ecology issues raised by your post (such as the presupposition that you are in a position to do much less offer anything that could help anyone including yourself) may guide you to what you want.
