You come to a point in your life when you really don't care what people think about you, you just care what you think about yourself.

Everything is in a cage in one form or another...all we are really talking about is the size.

John Strong's self-claimed Texas Ranch is 5 acres...In Reality, a Texas Ranch is 1000's of acres...The King Ranch is 825,000 acres...Hardly "Shootin Fish in a Barrel"...Say a "Ranch" has 1000 antelope, at the most 10% are harvested in 1 year...that leaves 900 to survive...In Todd Robbins terms..If 1000 people attend a Circus...and 100 get played by the Grift..that means 900 still had a Great Time....

I saw the story on 60 min. sunday. The bottom line was the animal rights people would rather see a species become extinct than to have ranchers raise and make money on them in Texas.

Alright then. That's not so bad, I guess.

I do hate PeTA more then just about any other group anyways though. "Hate" is a strong word. I only mean that I want them all to contract a horrible disease. I mean, that's only karma. After all, their witch President did once say that she wanted all American cattle to get hoof and mouth disease to destroy the meat industry. And their shelters have the highest Euthenasia rate in the country, over 6 times higher than the national average.
PeTA should probably stand for People for the Extreme Termination of Animals.
And then there's SHARK. Pretty much one guy and a bunch of idiots who hang on his every word because they are, well, idiots.
Had a verbal war with SHARK for a while over rodeo and ranching.
The conservation group that I'm pretty sure still has the best track record? Duck's Unlimited. Not 100% sure if they're #1, but they do good work.
Uh... rant mode off.

I throw stuff.

I know this was talking about a different animal "advocacy" group, was only mentioning PeTA and SHARK to say that every one of these extremist groups is screwy.

I throw stuff.
