I love the rubiks cube, and I do a routine where I :
1. Produce the cube
2. Solve the cube by chucking it in midair
3. Vanish the cube.
Does anyone else know any rubiks cube effects, NOT rubik cube by twister, some proper magic

I don't have any sources, but there is a routine where you have someone randomly scramble a cube, and you're able to look at it, memorize it, and duplicate the scrambling perfectly on another cube.
Years ago, there was a Rubik's Cube Die Box.
Ed Alonzo makes a version of the throw-it-in-the-air routine, but in his version, it's a small cube you solve in your mouth.

Ok thanks, I'm quite interested in the 1st trick that you mentioned, although it can't really be done in a routine, along with the 'in the air solve', if anyone has any sources to that trick I would be very interested.

Was Alonzo's the "Oral Fixational"? I used to do that one. Not examinable, but great for stage in a small-ish venue.

Lobowolf, yes, Ed Alonzo's version was "Oral-Fixational."
The ingenious part about that routine is that, sure, it's not examinable, but nobody should WANT to examine something that just came out of your mouth and is covered in your saliva.

Which/who's "chucking it in midair" method do you use? I'm thinking of buying it, but wanted to see which one is best.
