Time to start the official AbraCORNdabra 2012 thread!

The Great One, Steve Daly, has not solidified the line up yet but the initial list of talent looks amazing.

Johnny Thompson
Alan Ackerman
Joey The See
Celeste Evans
Ben & Margaret Ulin
Scott & Marissa Hitchcock
Scott Dorfman
Tim Smallwood
Earl Chaney
and a host of young performers.

Steve is also promising a Magical Mystery Guest that Steve claims would be a headliner at any magic convention in the world. Hmmm...who could that be?

So who is joining me for one of the best conventions in the Midwest?

Looking forward to it. We went last year and had a great time. Steve goes out of his way to make everything top notch. The hotel is very nice too.

Anybody have a guess on that secret guest?

I'm guessing the guest lives in Vegas and is a friend of Steve's. Probably describes a lot of people.

Looking forward to a great time at Abracorndabra. I will be burning the midnight oil to finish the props I have made just for the show. Some of the tings I will be showing are from my line but built with exotic woods. But will also have some one of a kind creations that have not yet been seen.

Looking forward to seeing Randi Rains building demontrations.

This is a super fun event, not to be missed.

Same here... Trying to get everything together and ready to go.

I'm very excited about the convention.

I am anxious to see Gimpy's stuff as well and ask him how to deal with magicians without going insane.

First show I have ever done that I was not working late into the night before getting things done. Another hour and I will be ready to pack everything up. Looks like much better weather this year for the 6 hour drive from the Ozarks.

Wishing everyone safe travel to the show.

Cant wait to get there.

I'm sure it was an awesome time! We had a BLAST last year and it was really great to be able to catch up with old friends I haven't seen in a while. I really hate that I had to miss this one!

Randi, it was great to meet you. Your TnR routine was hilarious on Saturday. Hope to see you again in the future.

Steve is really putting together a great convention. The mystery guest, Banacheck, was awesome! I can't believe he was dressed up as a corn cob. I'm sure that was the highlight of his career!

Kyle, as much as I enjoyed the banjo playing, next time you come to this convention I hope to see you do a little magic!

This was a great convention. Great people, great guests, and all in all, a great time. That's what made it great!

One of the highlights -- Celeste Evans. A classy lady, with a compelling story and she is one great interview. If you get a chance to see or visit with her, please do. Her story is interesting, inspiring, and above all, remarkable. She applied determination and creativity to rise to the top of the field at a time when it was almost completely male dominated. What a story.

Thanks to Steve and all the folks who made AbraCornDabra possible. I can't wait until next year!
