Just got this in. I have been performing MOABT for some time now. It's a great routine and a really strong effect. This however is even stronger in my opinion. I like the routine of having a spectator rip out a page and then tear the page into pieces (how could it be anything special or fake if you let someone destroy it). In my opinion the selection process is just more entertaining for the entire audience than it is to just have someone open a book and look at a word. I also like the fact you can use currant magazines and you leave them if you want. The best part to me is that after you are clued into the first word you are able to get the words around it with out any means of fishing or questions. You are able to tell the spectator more than one word, it's a double wow. I like it allot!

Hi Joe!
Thanks so much for the kind feedback. You are exactly right. That fact that you can use a Rolling Stone Magazine or a Time Magazine with current topics and trends makes it open for SO many performance possibilities.
I have used it with a Playboy for the right crowd too. If you have ever read Playboy Magazine they DO have great articles.......
You touched on something that many people will OVERLOOK. The fact that you can reveal MUCH MORE than one word.

There are is a spot where there isn't a period. And a spot where there is a space left out. Nothing that would ever hinder a performance.
If your spectator notices ANY of this you are doing it wrong.

A spectator can perhaps read a line or two but a person cannot read more than a few lines since the text lacks any meaning and is poorly written. That being said, I still like this since it does use a magazine and the spectator can rip up the page and select a word from one of the torn pieces. I will prepare several different Time magazines and offer a free selection of any one of them to be used. I will use this. I would ask a spectator to comment as to the amount of words in the article but I would not ask a person to read the article. I think it is a very good and strong effect.

I've always felt that the Great Kranzo takes EVERY existing method and boils it down to what's needed.
This is no exception.
Nate, I'm glad you're still running our old pic (how long ago was that?).

To alleviate those who merely want to purchase refills there is information in the actual test that shows you how to purchase the refills.
Sorry to be so vague man....lol. But needless to say refills are available at an inexpensive cost.

This is brilliant, Nate. I've always liked MoaBT, but never been big on supplying my own unfamiliar book. I like the fact that the prop used in this is familiar and casual but achieves the same effect. This is going right into my stage act and is exactly what I've been looking for. So glad you released this, man! A+!

The versatility in being able to pick up a Rolling Stone, Redbook, TIME, or Sports Illustrated etc. makes it so you can personalize it for presentations, talks, product launches etc.
Or just beat the snot out of somebody's brain while they are at Starbucks reading.
