Reading glasses can help and are easier to obtain ... $15 at the drug store, $10 at Wal-Mart, $5 at the flea market, $2 if you are willing to walk to the back of the flea market.

Any news on the DVD then? I see Steve's apple package but still no DVD.
It says you can use the WS in many ways but does one sheet of instructions cover all of that? Love the Fearson hook up. Having trouble imagining how this can be done with the WS & how is your replication of it an improvement? Can I still perform the floating cigarette? Not trying to be difficult here but without the ideas behind it it's just a thread stripper which I don't need. |

A thread stripper /Thread storage tube / kind of a mini one-way reel. JoeJoe has been so completely transparent with regard to how the WS works, what you can and cannot do with it, and even his videos that were originally meant for purchasers only have been made publicly available for all to watch. It's difficult to fathom how you don’t understand what the WS can do!! So possibly it is just a thread stripper that you don’t need. Woot! I'm glad to here that JoeJoe. I was afraid that maybe you had decided to drop that project cause of your deal with Steve. I've been waiting about a year for this I think and I'm still looking forward to it! LOL.

My Webspinner arrived this weekend. Not bought the DVD as I have Fearson's MLS & Ammar's ETMTM so I'm not sure the DVD has anything new for me.
I keep coming back to the same thought on this product though - should have just bought a decent ITR! |

I think you underestimate the DVD ... there is something on it for everyone. Reading between the lines, it sounds like you know a bunch of thread tricks but find them impractical to perform in a real-world environment. A lot of the focus on the DVD is about making thread practical to work with. It is not just a DVD about teaching you tricks ... it is a DVD for teaching you how to work with thread in such real-world environments. -JoeJoe

I have a thread boss, but the webspinner is the thing for, although the thread bullets are nice too, but I will use them next to eachother, the webspinner for one effect, the threadbullet for another.

The beauty of the Web spinner is that if the IT does break, you can reset FAST. I mean in seconds. And not with a bight light, on white paper. Low light and on the fly!

JoeJoe, the dvd is awesome. I can tell you took the time to script out your ideas so that teaching was flawlessly executed. Your love for IT magic shines through as you draw the curtain back and give us a peek of how the astonishment is accomplished. No fluff, no bS. Real work from a worker for workers. As the boss man said, "that dvd makes me want to go out and float something". This will easily be the number one levitation in my shop this summer.
