Any one know if this company is still in existence? They took my order a week ago (Feb 10) via the Internet and I was billed via Discover, but they don't answer phone calls or emails regarding the status of the order.

Still no product or response from Magic Enhancer. If no delivery by March 10, I will submit a dispute with Discover on March 11 and see what happens! If anyone out there is thinkng about doing business with them, you have been warned!

Terry, I hope it all turns out well for you. It is a very strange situation. I was hoping to get a custom CD from them, and I have been waiting to see how this plays out, but I guess there is no need to consider it right now. Please keep us informed.

You better file that PayPal claim or you will not be eligible for a refund.

Terry said he paid via Discover. I'm not sure what their policy is, but I think there is a waiting period before you can file a Paypal claim.

If you file a claim with Discover, you cannot usually file one also with Paypal. It is a very weird situation.

I purchased it through PayPal using Discover. Discover says "by law" I must wait 30 days before I can submit a dispute. Still no word from Magic Enhancer. I will be on it like white on rice on March 12!

No there is no waiting period for paypal, I have experience with this. There is a deadline, so if you snooze you loose. I filed a complaint and the next day filed for a refund.
I have now mentioned this twice. That is all I can do for you.
Actually, I believe you will have to file with PayPal, as the Charge card paid PayPal, and they will not return the money unless they get it from the dealer.
I ordered a video from a dealer and he would not respond to my email if it was still in production or would sell me the old tape version. After 2 days I filed with paypal, and as stated above, took it to the next level the next day.
I thought it was funny as the dealer said, I returned your paymnet. I just got the DVD verson today. My email through PayPal system asked to send the video or refund. Really, he has the video, but returned the money instead of making a sale. Sound fishy to me.

If you can get paypal/ebay on the phone, it might be quicker.
Pay it forward and remember karma will take it from there

There is no PayPal Transaction ID # on this, so no way to submit a dispute to PayPal as far as I can tell. It appears the only way to deal with this is through Discover. Still no response from Magic Enhancer. It sure seems like this should be considered some kind of illegal business practice in that ME accepted my payment with no apparent plan to provide the product.

You have to check your emails from PayPal for the transaction number. You will have to read the rules and how to make a claim. If you will not do this, then no one can help you.
Yes, you are correct, you will not get your product. Magic Enhancer would have come on here and claimed otherwise to you. He is or was a member on the Café. So his non-response tell you everything you need to know.
The longer you wait the harder it will be to recover any of your monies, if at all.

I received a chargeback after contacting both PayPal and Discover. I never heard a word from Magic Enhancer! "Caveat emptor."
