Looking for information on Joan Brandon or Dell O'Dell

Brandon appears to have been Born: 12 Feb 1916 and Died: Aug 1979 age 63.

Claimed to have started magic shows in theaters at 14 which would have been 1930.

She had a brother named Jack Brandon and another named Dan (he may have been an intern at Bellvue Hospital in NY). Her father may have been a magician named Allen Brandon or Brandoni ???. Cannot find info about any of those family members, except Jack who acted as her manager when when became a big name hypnotist in her mid 30's.

Brandon worked top venues starting at 20 in 1936 to 1960 and beyond and yet little is to be found about her family at all or her after 1960.

Cannot find much on her from 1960 on, when she would have been about 44. She lived it appears another 19 years. ????????

February 5, 1967, Miss Brandon appeared on "Long John" Nebble's radio program, entitled "Hypnosis" on a panel with several other hypnotists.

Did she get married and change her name? Did she die under a different name? Retire? To do what?

There is no grave to be found under Joan Brandon. This can happen if she changed her name, or gave her remains to science or was cremated. There are no obituaries on her.

Thankz

I remember Joan Brandon from the 50s-60s as a hypnotist. She played a large hotel venue in New Orleans in the 60s. As above....
