Just received a package from Xavier.
The set contains a 3in1 morgans, flipper, Ambivalence, CSB, 3in1 copper coins, two C/S that fits the expanded shells and finally 4 reg. morgans and 4 reg. copper coins.
Here is a few photos of his work.

The coins comes with a nice little wooden box.

Whoa...nice looking coins. I don't even want to know how much that set you back. Isn't ambivalence equal to TUC?
Is 3in1 coins exp [, normal [, and shaved coin? Which style flipper?

Very nice looking coins there.

Hey Bowers, looks like your next purchase as a top collector. Smile What's not to like? Smile

Not exactly sure of how much better a coin man it will make you but man, what a set. Smile

Nice website too. Smile http://www.xavierbelmont.com/

And you know when you don't see prices posted you're in for some fine dining, and definitely not getting ready to eat in any such side-of-the-road diner where you might find me and a few other locals here happily gobbling down the blue plate special. Smile
*Check out my latest: Double Trouble, FlySki, Crimp Change - REDUX!, and other fine magic at www.VinnyMarini.com Smile

Wow. what a beautiful set!

I am in the process of ordering a set from Xavier Belmont, a set complete, with 2 copper/silvers, a slippery sam, and an extra expanded shell made out of 5 francs coins.

really looking forward to getting the set!

Tommy, what do you think of the coins? Did the precision of the gaffs meet your expectations?
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

I don't have TUC but as far as I know they are very similar.
The two 3in1 are made with an expanded [ an unexpanded [ and a shaved remilled coin. The flipper is a gravity flipper.
The nice thing about this set is that all the gaffs fits together.

I'm satisfied, I think Xavier did some nice work with the coins.
Here is a few pics to compare with other gaffs:

His work is spectacular, I have set complet with ambivilence too. Unfortunately I haven't used ambivilence but it is sensational foe ease of use etc, may look to sell it so that it gets used I think!!

Those are beautiful coins! And I have heard from other Café members that they are very nicely made. Not sure of the prices but at one time prices for the Set Complet were published here and they were not out of line with other high-quality custom gaffed coin sets.

If I could afford them I would most certainly buy some of these beauties. Smile

Luke, Thanks for sharing. Not sure what prices are. But when and if you decide to sell, I'd like a PM also.

Hi Tommy, Hi to everyone,

Thanks to your nice words on my work.

Some precisions about my Ambivalence coin.

In a large part Ambivalence can make the same effect than T.U.C.
BUT, the princip of use is different, REALY.
I'm not saying my idea is better than Mr. Tango, it's just different.
As always there are pros and cons everywhere.

Ambivalence can be put (and examined) in the hands of your spectators (even if they are magicians!). if you do not know the principle of openness, you are not likely to find it right away!
I don't use T.U.C., as I know, I think it's a few faster to open, but Ambivalence is not slow to open !!!!

If you want contact me use my principal Email : x.belmont@free.fr

I remain at your dispoasal,

Magically your,

Xavier
You have an idea ? You have a problem ? Ask me a solution !

Magically your,

Xavier.

How did you add patina to your coins? They look really nice with the dark shading around the coin...

I have finally pulled the trigger and ordered Ambivalence from Xavier. I am told that the lag time will be 6 weeks

I probably will not be able to post pictures both for exposure reasons (and because I have never taken the time to learn how to post them!), however I will post my impressions, particularly as compared to my superb TUC Morgan.

Regards,

Alan
