Wow. That was really great and I really enjoyed it. You've given me a really good feeling. I mean.. REALLY good. It has me thinking about the King of Kings. I'll have to try to learn something like that I think because it just gives a whole different view of the cards; of which we know how many feel about. Now I know how you feel and it gives me a positive way of viewing the cards!

I have done 'Soldiers Deck Of Cards' for the Kids Story Time in our worship service...as a matter of fact it is the ONLY time I have done a playing card routine in the church. It was well recieved by both the kids and the adults. I don't do it nearly as well as Justin Flom, but still, it made the point.

I love this trick and I really like Justin's version of it. For those interested, Hugard's Encyclpedia of Card Tricks has a lengthy discussion of this plot on p. 374.

WOW!!!!! That was beautiful. Makes me really want to try and learn it as an evangelism tool. Not sure how well I could do, my right hand doesn't work that well anymore but I am going to look for it in Hugard's book. Thank you for posting it as it ministered to me greatly.

Yes, a story deck routine can be a great way to minister. Interestingly, several members of my church have come across the video of Justin and have sent it to me. That means that it is indeed powerful and something worth forwarding on to others.

Peace,
Tony Brent

Loved that story and the routine! Now if I can only figure out the card controls to bring those cards up during the story, I'd love to show it to my family! Thanks for sharing!

Very nicely done. I remember hearing this story for the first time in a song by Tenessee Ernie Ford. About a soldier who got in trouble for bringing his cards to chapel.

Nice use of the brush. Where did you get the picture cards made up? Do it yourself. If you ever market it, you can count on me to get a copy for sure. I am also a vet and I would love to be able to present the story like this.

Well done, indeed!
