Hello,

I want to contact a member, but lost his email. How can this be done?

Thank you,
David

The only way to check his profile or PM him is to search the entire member list. I did search through several hundred, then sent the original message here.

Thank you for the response.

If we had the search engine I could have used that.

Enjoy the day,
David

There are several options.

1. If you know the types of posts he usually makes, coins, cards, street magic, etc, you can use the search engine and specify that forum.
2. Click on the members button in upper right corner of the page. Click on the column "username" and the list will be sorted alphabetically. You can skip through pages or change the last digits in the url at the top of your browser to jump faster and narrow down the area. In other words, if you're on page two, the last digits of the url will be 30. If the persons username begins with T, change the 30 to a higher number like 45000. It's a little cumbersome but does work.

You might get lucky if you say who you're looking for. Someone may point you to a post.

Have you tried "Search the Magic Café" from Google?

Cheap shot. The Café *does* have a search engine. And it works quite well. There's always Google or Bing if you need something more.

Apparently that site's been down for a few days. Gotta do the manual labor of site:themagiccafe.com .
