Looks shifty (sorry couldn't resist).
But honestly, it doesn't look natural or convincing.
His hand movements betray what it is - a magician doing a magician's sleight.

Nop, unfortunately, he is doing the move only with a face up card, because his move is soo good that no one would believe that he was actually shifting the deck!

More of a hop. "Shift" has a surplus number of F's, when describing this move.
