Can anyone tell me the best deck to purchase? I buy supplies from D.Robbins but have never purchased their decks.
It's for a Cub Scout event. I don't want to sell them the best but I would like the boys to have a decent deck.
Thanks!

I prefer Empire brand from Loftus. They are a normal size card, they don't come in a "trick deck" box, and they have a normal card stock and good feel to them. And if you buy them by the gross, they come at a great price.

I agree with the Loftus recommendations. Their decks are decent quality, and at a fair price.
Robbins sells the Royal Magic decks from FUN, Inc., which are very nice but are probably too expensive for pitching. They also sell the FUN, Inc. pitch decks, which are OK (same good card stock), but are not collated, if you care about such things, and they are also still more expensive than the Loftus decks. But if you don't need a lot of decks and can't meet the Loftus minimum order requirements, the FUN pitch decks might be your best alternative if you are a regular Robbins customer.
Robbins also sells a few of the Chinese knockoff decks, which are cheap but no good for anything --- the card stock is too thin and the key cards aren't cut consistently; avoid these at all costs. SETH

Thanks everyone for your help. sounds like Loftus is the way to go!
I just came across this section of the Café by accident. I google 'Svengali Decks' and up pops a Café thread. I should have known that going to the Café for information is the way to go. I'd forgotten the 'Pitch' section. Been reading threads in this section, sounds like you guys have a lot of fun in here.
Thanks again!
