I've been playing around with this for a couple hours now. My first reaction when I read the ebook (which is 2 pages long) was "WOW"! After 2 hours my reaction is still "WOW!"
When I bought NUMBERS a couple months ago I thought I had died and gone to heaven but this... this will definitely replace that "antique".
My Review:
1. NUMB3R TWO is self working. The reset is almost instant. One word of warning; it doesn't always hit but that's okay. The out is WONDERFUL - if not messy!!
2. The bonus effect "7CAAN" (7 of clubs at a number) is VERY strong and ALMOST self working. There is one sleight that anybody with 9 fingers can do easily. Again, this effect KILLS!
Difficulty: 1/10
Reaction: 10/10
Average: 5/10
Overall Rating: 10/10
Could write more but the wife is nagging.

NUMB3R TWO is definitely the high spot for me. As pointed out, it won't hit every time, but when it does you've got a bonafide miracle on your hands.

Thanks to everyone who has shown interest in this ebook.
My idea for this effect came from the thread in the All In the Cards forum titled "HOLY GRAIL ACAAN EXIST? YES.."
I was so taken by the idea of choosing a two digit number between 1 and 52, adding the numbers together, multiplying them by 17, adding your weight (morning weight), factoring it down to a simple binomial and then naming a card that had almost nothing to do with that number that I decided to "run" with that idea a little.
This is what I came up with. I can't say it's the Holy Grail. But it definitely could be the Holy Beaker.
GOOD NEWS: I'm beginning to work on "GO NUMB3R TWO"!!

Joe is a very creative guy.
But I don't think you would ever perform, or want to perform, these effects exactly the way they are described.
A video would be great - I don't think it will give too much away. Most would not be able to reverse engineer the methods.

Joe - is it possible to get a review copy? I'm a big fan of CAAN (I've published one CAAN effect myself) and I'd love to see what you've created.

It's funny you suggest that because I woke up this morning and the first thing I thought was "I need to make a video of this." The problem is we don't have a bowling alley in my town.

Okay, I took the plunge...and was not disappointed!
This is the most hilarious approach to the dry old ACAAN problem we all deal with for too long...
Although short, the script exactly teaches what to do to achieve a maximum 'impact' (don't remember the term Joe used...was it 'slam'?) in the face of your participant.
It's true that this does not hit every time as hard as desired, but hey: doesn't this very fact make the feat that even more credible??
Not sure about the pricing of the final product but I guess if everything goes right the reactions are priceless!
Caveat: Do nut buy this if you're not open to new exiciting approaches that require more than the regular set of balls - but if you have them, the script implies how to use them even after the performance!
Thanks Joe for sharing - I think the time you already have this in your repertoire speaks for itself. However, a video really would be great (with a little tinkering, it could also be shot in a Fast Food restaurant).

I wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone that can hold a deck of cards. Only one move, if you call it that and you have a miracle on your hands. It's not 100% but very close if you put some practice in, which to me is more then worth it! I can't wait to see more work from Joe, step aside Harry, Dai, Elmsley, and Gaga.

As you know, self-working tricks are not exactly "self-working". This effect is no exception. It requires keen patter, cunning misdirection and subtle use of a wo_an's bra_ _ _ _ re. My job is to give you the basic working. Your job is to put some stank on it.
Any magician worth his salt could do this effect 30 seconds after taking it out of the box.
This effect may not be YOUR cup of pee, but there are many magicians who possess the skill to pull it off and pull it off well.

What an effect?! Simple and if it plays out like in the ebook, it packs a heavy punch. And do not worry, the font is very clear. The explanation is very direct. No beating around the bushes. Though some 'beating' may be required at different points.
Considering the time this effect has been in Joe's repertoire, makes the whole thing more interesting. Despite his obvious lead in working the effect, you will get to Joe's level in no time. You will get there even in your sleep
