Magicians regularly visiting Blackpool will be dismayed to hear that well known Blackpool magic dealer, Bill Thompson is in intensive care at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.

'The House of Secrets' has been "a must call" location for countless numbers of U.K. and overseas magicians visiting the town either on holiday or attending the Blackpool Convention. Bill has been part of the magic fabric of Blackpool for many a long year and his many friends are now praying for him. Even if you never met him, please add your prayerful wishes to those of us who know him as an irreplaceable friend.

Terribly sorry to hear this, even though it was expected.

Bill was one of magic's true Hidden Gems.

Tragic News. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

I happily remember that whenever I was over in Blackpool for the convention
I'd call in and see Bill at the House of Secrets.

What an amazing and generous man he was who shall I am sure be missed by so
many.

He gave me the greatest piece of advice about 24 years ago when I first went into
his shop namely to invest in books rather than expensive gimmicks as I'd learn way more
from the books of value and be able to make most of the stuff myself..

How true that piece of advice has proven over the years and how much money its saved
me I can only imagine..

Rest in peace Mr. Bill Thompson.. thanks for everything you did for so many.
