My PK rings are beginning to look pretty shabby. The Goldish finish is wearing off of them. Any ideas how to restore them back to their original condition?

Their cheap...just buy a new one. Would likely cost you the same to try and refinish them...

I used to pay $8.50 for them, now they are $18.00. I believe you are right about just replacing them. I've saved them over the years and just bought new ones every now and then when they were $8.50. I have about 10 of them that are no longer usable because of their appearance.

You could remove the goldish finish entirely and have them as black rings.

I find the silver ones seem to wear pretty well.
