Been there...done that....99% of what he says is accurate....and a few percent is misleading because he does not want to tip the "real work".
Enjoy !

Im in Germany and have been buying Phoenix decks since he kicked off proper, with USPCC.
I love the cards. Good quality and great customer service.
Ive not yet had the pleasure to meet him in person but Ive enjoyed a friendly email relationship.
Plus when you order you get GummiBärchen (Sweeties).
As far as using the decks for gaming Ive had no troubles.
Not many non-card people know about CS so I don't have the problem that someone will likely have a cold deck ready at a game.
For magic some people have whined that spectators are more suspicious because Phoenix decks arent widely known. I NEVER had a problem with someone calling me on the Phoenix deck (justified or not).
Cheers

Griffindance,
Guess your audience never heard about the "gamblers riffle test" or "Going to the movies"

For once I actually understand what your talking about
Going to the movies is still relitivly difficult if the work is done well and you have no clue what your looking for and to a spectator who knows nothing or very little about marks it should be almost impossible.

I am of the opinion that the riffle test was invented by paper workers to lull people into a false sense of security. I've done the riffle test on those ridiculously obvious chinese Ultimate Marked Deck clones you can find some times and told people that's what I'm doing, and asked them to check to see if the cards are marked, and they never catch it.
Mr. Quackenbush believes that there is no such thing as a good magic trick.

I believe that the "gamblers riffle test" was invented before Juice and Luminous technology was well know or even invented.
It is VERY useful to uncovering cut-out work and block-out work of any type.
NOTE: Bear in mind that when doing the riffle test, you have to stare are small areas of the cards and do the test several times while concentrated on small areas.
If someone thinks that they will spot the marks just by looking at half the deck...GOOD LUCK, They need to repleat the test multiple times and some knowledge of marks is useful...as everyone here knows....so, they know what they are looking for
