I'd like to perform the airborne glass in my show, but have a number of requirments so I'm not sure which to get.

1. I need to be able to use my own bottle (600ml plastic Coca Cola bottle - a can's no good).
2. The cap has to be on the bottle at the start of the trick.
3. I'd prefer a tumbler style glass rather than a wine glass (no need to be fancy, and it should give me a little more time for pouring).
4. A clear glass would be nice, so long as it's still deceptive.
5. Ideally something that doesn't cost a fortune would be nice.

Is there a perfect version that meets all of my needs? My best option may be to buy one of the really cheap versions, and then make my one from scratch, using it as a reference.

Thanks!

The original by John Fabjance should fit all those requirements. Here is that website, although the product seems to be out of stock. It is the simplest and has been my preference for years.

Here is another that specifically mentions a plastic soda bottle (probably an imported knockoff, though).

Abbott's Magic makes a verison of the Fabjance method. Contact them for availabiltiy. www.abbottmagic.com I checked, it is not on their site, you will have to email them for their blue mist Airborne Glass, make sure you comment you want the original Abbott model, that works like Fabjance Magic model. It is not expensive.

You might check this one out.

http://www.wideboyzuk.com/contents/floating%20glass.php

It is not available for sale (nor likely ever to be produced), but there is a possibility you might be able to buy printed instructions if you contact him directly (tell him Andrew Pinard sent you)...

You will be pleasantly surprised at the cost and the effectiveness!
