Hi guys,I'm here to ask some advice from experts in coin magic, I've been in magic for 5 years now, and I'm getting into practicing coin magic, specially coin vanishes, I master some sleeving techniques and some retention vanishes, but one day I was looking on the internet and I came across these two coin AMAZING vanishes, but before let me describe these vanishes:

They are performed with no sleeves, no pulls, no ditching of the coin they SEEM completely impromptu and hands are shown empty front and backˇˇ they sound completely impossible but they are not I know lol, take a look and if you could provide me some material for learning these vanishes I'd be more than thankfulˇˇ thanks a lot

Ahhhh, even her feminine mystique could not mask the truth. Sad, as there's no greater natural camouflage to be had anywhere, because if the indirect use of these womanly wilds can't help momentarily misdirect you, then nothing can.

Still, she was nice to watch using a little "Sleight of This & That," that us guys could never hope to use.

Maybe THAT'S why they call it a TOP-it. ROFLMAO!!!

Hey, at least she's doing magic! Nice move, if I do say so. Pretty girl, too. That helps. The other vid, Danny Cole, that's HIS effect. You'll have to contact him for details.

To give credit, the girl's name is Cheyenne Krijgsman.

Yea, she was not what I was expecting to see when I was waiting for the first video to load. Nice misdirection.

I could watch that girl do magic all day long even without props!
I watched 10 times and still have a hard time even seeing the coin cause I keep looking at anything but her hands!
I have no idea how she made that vanish, never seen her hand close enough to her top and believe me I was watching the top very closely! Could not be cuter!

And then the second video was even more mind blowing.
At first I seen that obvious PK ring or so I believe it to be one.
But the hands are always empty, then thought he must be dropping it in his lap but not enough cover for that to happen.
Nor did he drop his hand with purse blow camera so I am amazed with this video. Am I watching a Raven at work here?

Possibly when he drops the coin into the purse at the end the ring might have grabbed it but wow that was good.
Someone that knows how this was done please PM me with the answer before it drives crazy. hahaha
And please link some more videos of that girl!

I can't believe she stole my idea...the hair topit. I was about to bring it to market too. Guess I'll have to work on something new.

Whoever was watching her hands were clearly misdirected.

The misdirection is certainly there - I did not see anything drop where you all seem to think it dropped. The coin was still visible down past that opening till her hand brushed her hair slightly. I lost sight then.

It's fascinating how, er, FASCINATED everyone is about this trick. She's pretty. It's clever. The presentation was rather hard to follow. A little clunky, IMO. I think a Hair Topit is an ingenious idea. We seem to find more female coin magicians than ever using new sleights beyond a male's capability. I.e. subtle misdirection combined with a halter top can be very deceiving.

So I am not too great at this as I am probably a beginner at best.... but I saw it the third time I watched it. If you watch her necklace at around 17 seconds it goes behind the gimmick that is on her chest of her shirt. After you see it the first time it sticks out like a sore thumb. It helps that her necklace is stuck behind it for the rest of the trick though. The other quarter was clearly already in her pocket and she put it in the fold as she fumbled in her pocket giving the illusion that she was tearing it out of the paper. I could be wrong but that's what I saw.

She is awesome!! Its a great idea that I would have never thought of. I am shocked that she put it where she did though- the exact place that most guys would be looking. Bold move! I guess girls can be really bold and hide something in plain site and guys will be none the wiser. LOL

I just watched it again and noticed something on her left arm when her hair moves. 22 seconds, 25 seconds, and very visible at 29 seconds. She is extremely talented and it is still not totally obvious what the method is. That is as far as I am going to go to figure it out. I still like to be mystified sometimes.

Hey Steph, if you think she's good, then you shoulda saw a young girl a couple of years back here now that was truly something to see, Claudia. How good was she you say, she was better than most guys that I've seen, easy!

She was from Spain and did a variety of coin magic but just blew everyone away initially with a Coins Vanish and Reproduction routine(?) that was just so magical and with style beyond her years.

And while also quite beautiful, believe me, this became moreso about her wonderful magic than any feminine mystique. She was applauded by the big, small and all here. She was that good.

Thanks for sharing MB. I always love seeing anyone who is a master of their craft, especially when all other influences are thrown out and they are just, like you said, that good. Are there any videos of Claudia that I can see? Although I enjoy watching all of you guys performing, I find it much more intriguing to watch when it is a woman. Gives me something to aspire to.

I was just watching at first too Dougini but then I read the comments and went back to look at her hands. If she was using the liwig subtelty I wanted to see so I could learn from her. Then I saw it. It bummed me out actually. There are not many woman to learn from. We have smaller hands and obviously completely different bone structures and musculature and it is pretty hard to learn from guys who have these huge hands, and no chest in the way, and can wear suit jackets and vests and not look goofy... And on top of it all I am left handed! With all those strikes against me I have to take it where I can get it LOL

I wonder what ever happened to her. She took her videos down and sort of disappeared. Too bad-- she was better than a lot of the folks here, myself included. I think someone said she was looking to possibly go to medical school, but I'm not sure if that happened or not.

Pretty sure that's just part of her shirt. It looks like a decoration, not a gimmick. I could be wrong though.

Funny I was just thinking about her today, wondering what became of her. Claudia, was wonderful--great skill and lovely presentations full of conviction. When I saw her do coin magic, I said to myself, yes, that's how it could be! Anyone know what happened to her? There were videos of her online, but she pulled them because she was going to be performing in some competition IIRC. She was from Spain and working with a famous mentor whose name I don't remember. At the time, I think she was also a medical school student? Claudia was not her real name, again, I forget what it was, but someone might want to do a search for those threads concerning her.

Edit: here's one thread about her http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewtopic.php?topic=261413&forum=3&59
