Very nice. I'm still trying to do the "No Way."

Its a basic flourish. don't worry you'll get it soon.

That's freaking amazing. Here's a quick question... other than just looking cool, do flourishes serve another purpose?

My opinion:
flourishes are cool but MUST be used sparingly if performing magic tricks, otherwise you're just showing off as a juggler.
Not having all the time in the world and rather using my spare time to learn and perfect routines and sleights, I have just learnt a few basic ones (Charlier Cut, two different One-Handed-triple Cuts, a Two-Handed-Triple-False-Cut, Springing the cards, Ribbon Spread and Turnover the cards On the Table and so on) and use them only after someone, after seeing a few effects, asks me if I can do those 'things they saw in films as 'The Sting' and so on). That's when I would do these flourishes.
Using them during a card act does not necessarily add to it, unless justified by your patter and situation. An example? You're about to perform some gambling demonstration. You riffle shuffle the cards in your hands and then do a One-Handed-Triple-Cut while saying (tongue-in-cheek): "I enjoy playing card games sometimes, but no one wants to play with me and I really can't understand why ..." or something like that.
Just an idea of course

First of all, well done Suren.
Secondly, the use or utility of flourisher is totally subjective. Some are professionals and use it on stage as a manipulation act. Others mix magic and flourishes to create a unique style.
For me, flourishes are a hobby. Not really for performing as I'm more into mentalism, so wherever I bring out cards I handle them as less as possible. But its an interesting hobby and pleases me.

Thanks for the input. I'm in the camp of using them sparingly as well. I find that flourishes make people wary.

I believe doing flourishes before doing card magic, makes the reaction worse. Because, they just saw how good you are with cards, and know they believe that you can do most impossible sleights in the world. This idea gives them a method of how the trick is done. As Juan Tamariz once said, we should eliminate the stupid methods of tricks that come to our spectators mind.
