I was just reminiscing, a hobby I enjoy more each year, about last years Busker Boot Camp. I do it often. It was so much more fun than I remembered at the time, if you know what I mean. It was fun but it was rough. I left pretty beat up. Mentally it is enough to give a guy an aneurism and then topped with physical work to the point of stro...ohhhh.
So as I was taking a break on the couch when I remembered something Gazzo said to me. He looked me square in the eyes with a little squint, just that side of judgmental and says, "So, how did you come up with Rotten?" Okay, I may have paraphrased that due to the funny way the dude talks but that was the point. Straight shooter that guy is. You know how he feels about you and that is why I like him. He also has a big heart side but he hides it well.
I would love to go to Busker Boot Camp this year if they have one but I'll be busy working!! I have a gig that I know I would not be able to do as well as I will do with out the skills Bobby and Gazzo taught me.

Your story was very touching but certainly lacking as to completeness,
for you never shared your response to such an obvious question.

I don't remember. Probably something boring like the truth. I do remember after I answered I asked how he got Gazzo.

What was his reply then, if you cannot recall yours?
Gazzo is slang for Gary in the UK....in fact I know 3 folks who go by Gazzo.

Rotten, you worked your rear off...and more importantly you were open to everything we said and suggested to ya. You were without ego and had a fantastic openess about you that was refreshing.
Bottomline...you were a great recruit, and you are a terrific talent. Good to have worked with you.
Now, go do another show ya wussy! Lol....no really, you're up...get your crap together and get started...hurry up!

Gazz is short for Gary in the UK. He can tell you how he got the O for himself...
I really wish I could go back this year and learn more. I waisted one whole day getting the same note. The next day I finally fixed the problem and we found others. So much to learn, so little time.
