Man I love my dog! I still remember my first family dog....we had to put him down a a few years back. They really are a man's best friend.

Yes, they are and thanks for posting this.
I noticed at first the audience chuckled at parts but then became very quiet towards the end of the reading. That was touching.

I lost my border collie of 17 years a few years back and my heart is still broken. She was my shadow and best buddy. She'd greet me at the driveway every night when I came home from work. I still have dreams about her licking my face to wake me up in the morning Like Stewart, I wake up sometimes snugging up to the pillow thinking it's my Meg. Her last conscious act before she went under the the euthanizing drugs was to lick my face.
What if the Hokey Pokey really IS what it's all about? 
My neighbor rang my doorbell at 2:30 a.m. this morning, can you believe that, 2:30 a.m.!? Lucky for him I was still up playing my drums.
