Here is the link to what a lot of people have been waiting for. Childs play by Chris Congreave is here!

I really cant say enough about this but it really has become my go to effect. I am sure others that have seen it will agree.

The DVD includes versions by Chris Congreave, Gary Jones and myself. I have been using this to close my close up set as It's is very easy to do and has one of the best emotional hooks I have ever seen in a magic effect. It is reset for each performance which makes it perfect for walkaround and table hoping.

All the information you need is in the link below.

There will be speacial pre release offer but there is only limited numbers for this.

Seems a lot of their tricks go down the one f---e card plot , with writing on the back of another . I contact springs to mind , seems just a f---e and a m-----a wallet type load. Hope I am wrong as otherwise nothing new here , I am probably way off as only a trailer.

I think there is little on the marked that has the hook this has.

This is very unique and has fooled most magicians I have done it for. (laymen have no chance) The second part is so fair it really is a free choice and no you done need a wallet.

I personally had not seen anything like this method untill Gary brought out a routine that this is based on a while back. I have since been aware of similar ideas but not used in ths way.

This is new to me.

Regardless to the method and I really don't want to over hype anything. I just really believe that it only matters what the spectator sees and gets from the experience? I perform loads of effects that are not new but have different presentations and that can change a whole routine.

I have not seen anything like this for a long time. It really is my favourite effect at the moment and has been since I started performing it. And I have been a working pro for a long time so that says alot. I have even mentioned this in my recent lecture's where I have shown this.

I think anyone that tries this will see what I mean when they see how well it plays to laymen. This is one of those rare effects for me that has changed the way I perform my set. I am more than confident that anyone that has seen this or picks it up will agree that it is a little bit special, very clever and fun to perform.

The photos can be customised as well. The picture I use really is my son which makes it more personal to perform. Anyone can add a photo to do this if possible?

It's a perfect worker for all stiuations from corporate to family shows, parlour and probably stage. (Which I don't do) so have not tried.

We have included many versions some are pretty much self working, and I have a version that's needs no photo and can be done on the fly with just a businesss card.

Myself Chris, Gary and Russ will be happy to answer any questions.

Thanks guys.

Lee,

Does this include the photos on the disc? I saw there were pics shown on an iphone, are those pics included as well? Thanks.

Hi Paul,

The photo's will be included yes. But as I mentioned you can just do your own. The one on my iphone I just took of my son. You can just take a picture of the ones you get with the DVD on your phone if you need to. This is what I did until I used my own. It worked fine.

I have a version where one photo covers the patter for both selections. This will come clear when you see the full routine. This you will be able to do easy.

You will get eveything you need to perform tho so don't worry.

Ony thing you might want to add is your own cheesy jokes, lol.

Ok, let me answer maturely :-p.

Whilst there is clearly no new method with the wallet, you don't need a wallet to perform this. What you will get is a well structured (IMO) routine, with an extremely commercial plot that is very easy to perform, instant reset and a real worker.

If all you are interested in is new methods then you won't find this is for you.

There are no new methods nanaswan, but I believe what you have here is a new (ish) plot that has that all important emotional hook, this is definitely not just an ordinary card trick! You have a photo of your daughter (niece, friends daughter, sister, granddaughter etc) who has hand drawn a playing card, this matches the spectator's selection, you now show another hand drawn card, this matches the spectator's THOUGHT OF CARD!

You get really fantastic reactions when you show that the photo matches their card, and when you show another hand drawn card which is the same as their THOUGHT OF CARD you get that shocked silence as their jaws drop, and then the WTF screams, it really is that strong.

Tried and tested methods, some wonderful props which can be customised, an emotional hook to pull the audience in and a double climax which is both logical and very entertaining.

I opened my lecture with this recently at the Leamington Magic Society, everyone was taken in with the story, they really thought it was my granddaughter (I don't have one lol!), I had anyone name ANY card, this was the card that was hand drawn by my "granddaughter" absolutely no force whatsoever!

Hope this helps,

Gary Jones.

First thing that sprang to my mind was a method to allow the thought of card to be printed on the back of the picture.

I might be jumping the gun and this could well be one of the methods discussed on the DVD.

I couldn't make the filming but yes, this was one of the methods we came up with David, in actual fact it was Mark Bendell who came up with a method for this.

A big part of the charm and strength of the routine is the fact that your Daughter has drawn the thought of card, if you start printing hings on photos you will lose a big part of that.

We (Gary and I) have tried loads of different variations on this, I used an early version of icontact with this plot and none of them came up to what is on offer here.

There are several different ways to reveal the card taught on the DVD, one of which is the drawing on the back of the photograph.

I agree Christopher.

I meant to say that the thought of card would be drawn on the back of the photo (not printed).

I have just watched the trailer and in my opinion this is excellent. I can never understand why people are obsessed with method, and are looking for some new method when it's really all about the way to do an effect. Anyone who has performed magic for a while knows all methods as there are NO NEW METHODS!

What should be obvious to anyone who makes a living performing, is that what you have here is a dream routine. All of the work has be road tested for you by 3 of the countrys top pros. The emotional hook will hit people and they will react strongly. It aint just a card in wallet(which is still great for lay people) it's a hell of a lot more with 2 cards being discovered. Also it brings everyone into the moment as everyone has a child, grandchild, neice or nephew or a neighbourh who has kids.

I have just ordered it and anyone else who works should be pressing the buy button now.

Thank you for releasing this Chris. Another workers dream routine.

Do you need a color printer to print the photgraphs? I currently use my digital camera to photograph my two sons and then download the photos and send them to snapfish (a company here in the USA that develops/prints your photos)who then sends me the photos or makes them into a photo album.

Thank you again for your help and courtesy.

Best regards,
Michael

Totally agree with Mike on this. As far as my spectators are concerned its the effect that counts. Heirloom and KK are the same in method but for me Heirloom gets a far better reaction and adds more to the presentation with a nice emotional hook. I can really see this playing well for workers.

Well done Chris, Gary and Co!

Lee,

I would appreciate it if you could kindly clarify what is the special pre-release offer. RSVP site states that the dvd that is being supplied as a pre-release is actually a dvdr which may or may not play on my DVD player but will paly on computeres. So I am not sure what is the pre-release special as compared to waiting until the final, regular DVD is produced. The routien looks very nice.

Thank you very much.

Michael

Does anyone know if the "hand drawn cards" actually come with it or do you have to make them up yourself. Looks like a great trick.

I will need to Russ to help me here, but as far as I am aware it will be the same as the finished product regarding the material. Just means you will not get a printed DVD/Case.

You will though get a copy way before others do. I have never had a problem with any DVDR's. Russ has always sent my pre release projects to me and I have never had a problem playing them. Strike 2.2 was also in this format.

In regards to the last post. You will need to do the cards yourself. It takes about 5 mins and will look much better than if they was printed. Once done will last as long as you need them.

Hello Everyone,

I'd like to thank Lee for handling things whilst I've been away. Thanks Lee!

To confirm, this is the first time we've done a limited pre-release of a product, but we'd had so many people ask in advance if they could have it quickly after seeing it performed or at Lee's lecture, that we thought we'd give it a try. We've been staggered by the response to be honest and have today been busy posting off all the orders. The only difference with this product is that is doesn't come in the usual DVD case, with cover and it's a DVDR. This WILL play on all computers and most DVD players, so apart from the box it's pretty much the same as the final product.

It comes wit the required special cards which you'll need to fill in yourself. As Lee said already, they look better hand drawn and also we give you an option on the DVD that allows you to choose when drawing the cards.

Any other questions please ask!

Thanks again to everyone that's ordered, for your support once again.

Best,
Russ
