I've been shopping for a PK ring. Never used one before. Anybody have any recommendations? The one I'm looking at is a Vortex. The thing is, it looks an awful lot like a wedding ring, which it seems to me would call attention to itself. Is there a PK anyone recommends?

Honestly, PK rings are pretty straight forward. Most people buy the rings based on their look (that is why I prefer Wizard Dark G2). But if you have no cares about the way it looks, you can just go out and buy a magnetic ring inexpesively off of medical websites. It just takes a bit of looking but you are looking at shelling about 8 bucks for the ring.

Thanks, Redi! I was concerned about the "wedding ring" look because I'm well-known in my area and lots of folks know I'm divorced. The wedding ring would likely call attention to itself more than just some other sort.

Hey Philip,
There are other options, not wanting to wear a "wedding ring" style rign is exactly why I came up with this: http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......tart=120 Hank |

There is a PK ring, selling on ebay for 8 bucks. I'm waiting on it to come, probably from China, cuz it's been awhile.. I will let you know, but the pictures looks like its pretty strong. They state its the strongest, but we will see

I was very pleased with the extra strong PK rings I purchased here:
http://www.supermagnetman.net/index.php?......cc9c15ee He also has standard sizes/strengths. Also variety in "across the diameter" and "thru the thickness". Might want to take a look.
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

Seconded! He calls them magnetic wedding rings, but some aren't wedding-like at all. And N50 is very strong material.

I got the kinetic pk ring from Murphys magic. and its the strongest pk ring I have ever gotten and it is tougher than other pk rings like if you drop once it won't shatter. Only thing is was that I got the black one and the paint was slightly chipped off when I recieved it and the chipped part kept on getting bigger and it looked bad and so I returned it.and now since I just rembered how good it was I might get it agian in silver.

Or just stick a small neodymium magnet under any ring
