I really like this idea. And I don't think that the invisible deck overshadows the biddle trick, because in the spectator's mind it's all one trick, the thought of card moves to the other deck. I also like the presentational posibilities in having the person with the invisible deck mimic every motion that the other makes with the cards. Lots of room for comedy there.

I heard from a friend that anecdotal evidence is actually quite reliable.

That's what I was just thinking before reading your post Magic Juggler.
With such a presentation, the two effects merge together to form a whole. Specially if in the end, the spreads are slowly done at the SAME TIME : The invisible deck by yourself, and the other one by the spectator, between the hands.
This way, none of the effects overshadows the other one. The final is not 1+1, but 2 in one.
Hoping it's clear..
And yes. Very nice combination.

I'm really liking this combination, pretty much in spite of the fact that I'm far too lazy to carry two decks around under any circumstances. But I would carry a mini ID, and that makes this very possible. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Curtis Kam, I'm a huge fan of your coin work.
If you use a mini ID, maybe you can perform the routine for a kid and his mom/dad, telling him that he imagines you're performing for him the same effect miniature size, I think that explanation would fly for using the miniature sized deck. It would also be very entertaining to have the kid imagine everything you're performing for the adult.
J.CADEAC,
I actually prefer doing the effects punch after punch and not at the same time. I think that might take the focus out of both effects if you perform them together. It's like making 2 objects appear at the same time, diminishes both in my opinion. On the other hand, if that would work for you, that's great.
Again, thank for everyone else for the support, this routine and many others are currently in progress of something bigger.

That's really cool. I like that you can have the ID in sight the whole time and don't have to produce it magically, which I worry about my ability to do.
