Unfortunately, I didn't climb the heights with AGT that Charlie did with Swedens Got Talent, but I did make the cut...It was an interesting experience, and the producers were kind to me (unlike bike boy who was re edited to look terrible).

So my wee claim to fame!!! is up on youtube..heres the link

Now to get back to my real job...

What one sees on screen is not what is recorded...but Im sure that's a given and everyone gets it...I know of some performers who have been ripped by talent shows like AGT, editied to make them look bad, for ratings and such. Thakfully that wasnt the case with me...

Anyway, it was a full day in Melbourne, sitting around in the green room talking with the other acts, being aware of cameras circulating and interviews being done. Then it was over to the theatre and more waiting, then to the wings and more waiting, and then e voila...3 minutes in front of the judges...

I bumped into one of the crew backstage who was part of an all girl group in Tenerife when I lived there...small world.

It was a fun and enlightening experience and even though I understand its oevre and raison d'terre in chewing up talent, I would do it again as the footage can be condusive and its filmed well...

So that was my experience...

G'day James

I saw the end of that on the tele last night as part of the promo for the show. The facial expressions/responses by the judges were great.

Congratulations for getting out there and having a go.
