Based on a request from a customer, here's a unique idea for a pouch. (Actually a pair of pouches worn on the hip, like holsters).
I think it's quite unusual as pouches go but quite a good idea for many applications.
I've used a pouch on the side before and liked it. This one is softer and a bit smaller but has some very nice features. Can be worn in pairs or just by itself. Or even with another pouch.
I hope you busker-types like it.

How much Frank?
How does it hookup, belt loops?
I assume these pouches will cover your actual pockets, is it still easy enough to access your actual pockets?
I vote you really dive into this new design, add a few features from your other pouches like a tip holder etc.

I think I see a TT holder just above the lemon...
I like it, but I think the poachers pouch you already offer is the perfect side/hip pouch, once it's broken in a bit. This new pouch definitely has a lot of potential though.

There's a flat pocket on the inside that can be used for a variety of things, including a tt holder.
That's how I do it, anyway. I shy away from having specific holders as everyone's needs are different.
Instead, flat pockets seem to be able to cover multiple needs without having to create different styles.
Yep. a beltloop on the back. It does go over your regular pockets which would still be very easy to access.
And Chad is correct, you could use an outer small pocket for a tt if you wanted to.
The ones pictured are nicely lined on all surfaces inside and out.

The small front pocket, is it a single pocket or split in two?
Would you say this is a final product or do you have alterations in mind?

Now THAT is a nice looking piece of leatherwork, and a great looking design. I like the details and thought that's went into it (them).

It's more or less the final product. At least for the individual that sketched it out for his needs, it is.
If you have suggestions, I'm all ears. That's how things get better.
This front pocket on the pouch is split in 2, as requested.

I think I should explain just why I'm so in love with this concept. I've always fancied the idea of doing a big final load but I always hate those normal pouches. I think it's ridiculous every time I see a performer put the pouch on solely to do the cups and then immediately remove it once he's done, Gazzo being the exception to the rule.
I cringe a little bit every time I see it, I think the performer should either have it on the entire time, which some do, or don't use it at all.
The only problem with having the pouch on the entire time, for me anyway, is they seem so *** cumbersome, not to mention slightly ridiculous looking. I mean you have to be going for a certain kind of look to pull it off.
But this little guy doesn't seem cumbersome at all, in fact it looks like this sucker will stay the heck out of your way until you need it and the best part is it will be there the entire time.
Of course if you're the kind of guy that needs six oranges and a melon on your table at the end of your show this isn't gonna do you any good, but for those you think a little smaller than that I think this thing is just the bee's knees.
I think we should all pitch in here and brain storm on what little details might make this a real knock out!

What about side pockets like in some of your larger pouches, or sewn-in coin slots?

Yes, we considered doing the coin slots for future runs.
not too much room for a side pocket. I guess it would be more like an "edge" pocket which could hold a tt or a sharpie I suppose.

I've done several "coin production" designs so the answer is yes. That's easily handled with a little extra handy-work on the back.

I've been using something very similar to this for years and years as it's rathe akin to the ring purse worn by mediaeval and renaissance magicians. I have several. Though my most commonly used one is black deerskin here is a photo of me sporting a yellow velvet one.
They are quite useful, especially for the period performer lacking pockets.
I contend that we are both atheists.

Very nice Payne. I love the way that goes with the outfit. My pouches don't come with those knee-high socks though.
Where are you performing in that photo, Payne?
The first batch was already sold out and I'll be picking up a second batch of these pouches this week.
