So, I get one compliant consistently from speaking prospects: the clips are too short and it doesn't show how I present. It just does not highlight my personality as a speaker. Those with experience in selling speakers are telling me it needs to be more like 10 minutes. This comes from both end clients and agencies. I've resisted and resisted but I'm losing big credibility by hiding behind edited video.
So, here is my 1st draft of a demo that focuses less on the flash/music/quick clips and more on pure "me".

I have some nicer footage (yes, it's all at the same location) this time around.
I'm trying to tell a longer story but I'm not sure if music and voice-over is appropriate. What should I do from here? Transitions? Musical opener/closer? Some voice over between clips? I'm open to your feedback.
The audience is the potential booker who will be spending thousands of $$$$s on a speaker and wants to make sure he will be good on stage with their group. It's less about entertainment and more about a great message, personality, and stories.
Also, I've purposely kept out my video testimonials as I don't think the flow fits. I plan to have the testimonial video compellation to appear right below this video.
Thanks!

Hi Scott,
I haven't watched the video, but the word "professional" is misspelled in your YouTube tag.
All the best to you!

Scott;
In my past profession as a photographer I learned quickly that the minutest elements in a photograph will distract and cause a photograph to fail.
In your video, the background is very distracting and busy. The wall color in the background is coming out of the center of your head and the plant is making the background very busy, distracting the eye from the central focus of the shot… you.
It may be just being picky, but it’s my perception, I am posting to call this to your attention had you not noticed it before.

I think video starts at and odd time and takes a bit to understand whats going on.
Find a 6-10 minute captivating or emotional part in your motivational message and use that.
