Wanted to share with you a really cool project that my friends over at the Blue Crown have been working on. If you are really into playing cards (and what magician isn't?) or you have ever thought about designing your own custom deck but figured it would be impossible - read on!
HOUSE OF PLAYING CARDS IS NOW LIVE!
After 6 months of creative development, The Blue Crown Network is proud to present The House of Playing Cards! This new website offers the best playing cards in the world, with new decks available every month! Whether you’re looking for a deck for your next card game, a unique collectible, or cards that handle beautifully for magic tricks and flourishes, HOPC has got you covered! At launch we are offering 4 incredible decks - NOC, Crown, Americana, and Vaudeville!
Simplicity and elegance define the NOC Deck. This deck gets to the heart of the cards themselves and eliminates distractions. The deck has a striking back with a solid bar of color and a thin white border. This puts the emphasis on the work you do with the cards, not on the cards themselves. The NOC Deck is available in 5 vibrant colors - Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, and Purple! Collect them all! Initial supplies are limited to only a few thousand decks of each color!
You’ll feel as though you stepped out of a time machine and into the old west as soon as you hold the Americana Deck in your hands. Designed by Russell Kercheval of Circle City Cards, the Americana Deck embodies the spirit of the old west better than any deck of cards to date. Featuring period faces and backs, each card has a cracked, aged design that looks like it came right out of a dusty saloon. You can almost hear the honky tonk piano and loud arguments over which player is a lying cheat. Less than 3,000 decks available!
Available again after months of requests! The Crown Deck is the signature deck of The Blue Crown. This stylish deck has a Tally-Ho inspired back design and classic Arrco faces. The Ace of Spades is a sight to behold, and the cards handle like a dream. The embossed tuck case shows off the back design and Ace of Spades. Add a touch of class to your performances with the Crown Deck. Available in gorgeous Blue, Red, and Green!
The Vaudeville Deck was designed to show that the era may be gone, but it is definitely not forgotten. Designed from the ground up over the course of 10 months, the Vaudeville Deck features 100% custom artwork that pays tribute to the grandeur and mystique of the great magicians of yesteryear. When people first saw the Vaudeville deck, comments included - “By far the most beautiful deck of cards I've ever seen.” and “This is a real piece of art, can’t believe something like this could exist...” This is the last chance to own this collectible piece of pocket-sized art and history. Less than 4,000 decks remain, and they will never be printed again!
