"Clad you found your way here."
Don't think it was intentional, but funny, nevertheless!
My ex-cat is named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

Not a standard stripper deck. Advice: don't play poker with Todd (or at least don't let him deal).

Todd might want to better explain that (Though knowing him, probably not) if he wants to sell them more. If people gotta ask because of such a price then it deserves a little 'splainin', maybe a lotta 'splainin'. That much for any kind of stripper deck, even a supposed "special one" from a coin man, better come with a real stripper.

The idea of the negative stripper is in the Cervon castle notebooks vol.1. I do not know if it is in any other book or books but have not really looked for that yet. I want to explore with them more before I see what others have done.
They are not "strippers" as most magicians know of them. They are a great tool that most will have trouble working with as they require a significant amount of feel to work correctly.
As a result of this you can hand them to another magician who may or may not be familiar with these decks and they will be unable to strip out the cards in most cases. There is a fine amount of work in these decks.
I worked with my bathroom or negative stripper deck from august last year and they are a powerful little known tool. If you have the right cards you can really set the deck without using the usual culling techniques. You can also set a 5 handed game in two shuffles with one cut. I had worked it out where I was able to do it in one shuffle but I liked doing it in two better. It takes work to master these.
The Asher decks he is offering are great cards but he also offers to make them out of your own deck you send to him. the price is $35 per deck. The Asher decks cost $11/ea to begin with.
If you do not understand or feel they are worth the money then they are not worth it to you.
Todd has answered my emails with no problem. It took about 3 days.
Later,
Mobius

I hesitated to explain more here MB because Todd has purposely decided to keep this somewhat under the radar, but since Möbius has done such an excellent job of describing what they are I will direct your attention to Todd's blog where you can see these in action. Todd posted a video titled N Strip on the most recent post. Also, a couple posts back he describes what they are in greater detail.
And before someone asks how you can sell something if it is "under the radar" here is what Todd writes on the new site:
Quote:

I will be offering discounts to brick and mortar magic shops who’d like to sell some of my products, but I am not interested in selling to the large outfits like Murphy’s, etc. So, I’d say…dealer inquiries welcome, but I prefer the mom and pop types at this time. You know…the good old boys.
This should aid in keeping the products a bit more exclusive, in my way of thinking. My plan is to keep the love in the coins all the way, not bang them out as fast as possible. They will be produced as quickly as possible, with the LOVE totally intact.

Thanks Banzai, very interesting and totally over the head of the uninitiated as perhaps it should be here. Thanks for the better rundown on this but I tellya, a real stripper with the deck would be a great bonus. Seems like Todd's style.

Looks like he just put up some specials today. Some great deals on shells and sun/moon sets. Bet they won't last long at those prices.

I know his silver gaffs are running a couple months behind so hopefully this clad stuff don't prolong the wait for the silver rush,

He addressed that on his blog. The commercial side is supposed to be it's own separate entity, leaving him more time to make individual custom orders and less production style. The way he used to do it.
I think he is carefully getting his local commercial manufacturers in place, and then all he has to do is monitor and keep the quality ala Lassen. So far none of the other commercial vendors have been able to do that, so I think he will be very successful in this venture.
And the "running a couple months behind on silver" stuff is a seriously moot point. I think anyone that has dealt with Todd knows that sometimes it takes a very long time to get custom orders and other times you get it fairly quickly or immediately, all depending on what he is working on at the time.
One look around his blog you can see he is obviously pumping out a lot of custom product, and you can see basically what types of coins he is working on presently. Like for instance, he has put the word out that he is making all Morgan stuff right now. So if you want a Morgan flipper or shell set, NOW might be a good time to place that order. If you ordered a half dollar CSB set, maybe you are going to wait another 10 months for that, all depending on what he is currently working on and what coins he is able to acquire, etc., etc.

Sorry - but if the work is being outsourced to other manufacturers, is it REALLY a 'Lassen Coin'?
Someone can put a Mercedes 3 pointed star on a Ford - but it don't make it a Merc does it.
