That makes more sense, I would think that Todd would be over loaded with gaff trama taking on so much.
Close up coin magic.
Okito box clip.

I looked around on Todd's blog, but couldn't find any mention that he is not making these himself.
Are you guys sure someone else is making the clad gaffs for him?

Lassen is having local vendors machine these to his standards and everything will go through a rigid inspection process to insure the quality does not waver. He also mentioned that he is still expanding the coins, and any other trade secrets are still being done in-house.

Wow. Check out the "realm of possibilities" page. I see sun/moon, uwc, coins of ishtar...truly many possibilities. This may take commercial coin gaffs to a new level. Not surprised.

Its just like the old site.
doesn't get back to you on
your e-mails.no e-mail no transactions.
he really needs to work on that.

I know he is shipping a TON of stuff, and he has related to me there are still a bunch of guys trying to order custom orders from the commercial site. And emailing his custom email for the commercial products, etc. He stated really clearly that he wanted to keep the two separate.
To me, it appears he is offering a lot of choices already. Probably the idea of paypal buttons is to eliminate the need for a lot of emails that he can't handle.
And as always suggested here...did you try to call him?
FYI, I think he has plenty to work on, and people really take for granted how many hats he wears for a one man show. He makes a lot of great items for a lot of magicians, around the globe. And now he is starting up a new business, I am sure he is overloaded, do you really think you need to complain here? I'm sure he is producing a product to his very high standards, so be patient, call him, or use the paypal buttons, would be my suggestions.

Actually, it would be wise for Todd to start training apprentices. And maybe have more assistants.

I am not complaining by no means.
I know he is busy.and busy as he is
I figure it would take less of his time
by email than talking on the phone.

Bowers, that's my thinking too, but for some reason it seems Todd prefers the phone.

My first transaction on Todd's new site worked great. I clicked the Paypal button. I received a few days later. No need for email, but I think that's the point.
BTW, the Teflon shims I bought beat everything else I have ever tried by a mile.

I wasn't criticizing you, Todd, I was just suggesting that the point of the new site seems to be "click" and "ship" with no specialized (custom) ordering. Perhaps he will take your suggestion (a good one, IMO) and offer additional fitted coins as an option at a later date. He seems to be experimenting right now. I'm sure the site will undergo changes over time.

I actually had an immediate response to my purchase inquiry, and fast delivery. Same Lassen quality, but in the cheaper Ike's, which feel great, a little lighter than silvers of course, and the Copper Walkers are gorgeous! It is a real pro prop.

I had some custom work done by Todd (2 shell sets, C/S, Triple Threat and Flipper all in custom coins) for the first time recently. The quality was excellent (unbelievable, actually) and Todd was careful to be sure I got exactly what I wanted.
The man does outstanding work.
