The go kart one is the first I thought of. Lots of those actors died young.

Never liked them. Tried to watch several times, got massively bored. They ranked just below the Stooges on my humor meter.

Same here. I liked Abbott and Costello much more. I remember Our Gang as being excruciatingly slow.

Interesting. I think the slow and gentle pace of the Little Rascals short subjects was well suited to an intended audience of children - look at Mr Rogers, or if you want something really excruciatingly slow, the Teletubbies. Of course I also enjoyed the Three Stooges very much. Never did like Abbott & Costello, though. Not sure why not. Too cerebral, I guess. Lauren & Hardy also did their humor in a slow, deliberate way, I sometimes thought their routines were played out too long. I guess I identified with those little poor kids who triumphed over adversity -and snotty adversaries- time and time again, as in that fire truck go kart race.

Buckwheat wasn't Jackie Coogan. Everyone knows he grew up to be Eddie Murphy. I know this because I saw it on TV.

Murphy was actually the 7th Buckwheat, also known as The Wheat That Shall Bucketh Hence, as pre-ordained by the Council of Elders in the book of Schwa.
I don't know all seven of the Buckwheats because I haven't seen the entire book, only the bits quoted in YouTube comments on rap videos, but the ones I remember are:
The Wheat That Hath Bucked Whence,
The Wheat That Bucketh for old Pallets,
and the one that hasn't come yet is:
The Wheat Whose Buck Doth Stop Here,
and it is this final Buckwheat who shall signal the invasion.

Also, I prefer Chaplin.

I throw stuff.
