It is a life experience. No one knows exactly how they will look on TV until they appear. So many things go on in making any TV show. It is a story and as performers progress, their story gets more intriguing or at least it should be.

I think last year they only had 100 acts make it to Vegas. Approximately 75000 audition nationwide. Those are pretty tough odds.

Jackson got national exposure for his act and a lot of air time. Love him or hate him, the key is was it entertaining? Nick could not get his wedding band off, things happen. Performers have to be able to react to things that go wrong. Even overseas he is being talked about:

You know what they say about publicity, good or bad.

11 million viewers last Tuesday. Seven years is a long time for a series. Will AGT see year 8? Well if it did cancel, what would America look like without a GT when its all over the world now. Thanks to BGT and Simon?

Scott! There have been very good magicians on, some that didn't make it, and crappy ones. Then there is the crappy one who stole applause and comments from good ones for his web site. Lastly there were good ones who just fell apart on the show.

Crappy first audition but still made it to Vegas did he not? You do not need three yes votes but only two to move on. Are we talking about the same magician MagicSanta? IF so, did you happen to see his Vegas AGT footage?

Respectively submitted,

No the crappy magician didn't make it anywhere but the show as an idiot. He then edited other performers applause and comments from the judges directed toward other magicians. You want the toads name?

I think you believe I was talking about some magician that did well. It cetainly wasn't. Scott who I greeted because I have known him around magic since he first came around. I like Scott and think he did great.

Scott, can top twenty people come back?

John Pizzi (cafe member) was on the show last year, and is on again this year. Aaron Smith and I were talking about making another run on the show this year with some of our new material, but I already performed 3 of my best illusions on the show in season 5, and one of our planned performances was already done by spencer horsman this season. At best we could probably make it through 3 televised rounds and would then be off (assuming we made it that far) so we figured we would wait another year or two and build up our show some more.

I would love to do Scott alexander's velocity or shattered on the show, but knowing what the producers want, I'm afraid they would dismiss them as being "too small" regardless of how they were performed.

@ scott Alexander: did you consider performing sw of your signature pieces on the show?

Mike Stroud was the guy last year who fell off the stage (no he wasn't the crappy magician, that one was from Miami) is an excellent magician who just had real bad luck.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha! I know who you are talking about now. There have been numerous magicians who have done that, most notably the guy that botched the shadow vision. I have seen others who had lackluster performances make themselves look like stars. I don't have that big an issue with it, since the show is notorious for doing the same to others. Though the most agregious case would have to be the Miami guy. But hey, if it gets him more shows....more power to him. Harry Houdini was a master at false advertising.

I think you mean 'There are 2 magicians (Myself & Rudy Coby) and Bambi Van Birch' ;-)

Every magician on here should vote for you and Rudy and show some support.
wishing you good luck.

Met you at PCAM last year and attended your lecture. Saw the clip and voted for you. Best of luck.
