One of my good friends has a mother who is suffering from breast cancer. Help out if you can, it'd be much appreciated. I'm thinking about doing some magic related things myself to help out.

Virginie's battle with breast cancer began in February 2012. After working at Home Depot she finally acquired health insurance and decided to go to the doctor for a general physical. This quick and easy doctors visit ended up throwing a curve ball into her life that she could have never imagined. She had advanced stage breast cancer, and it was going to be a long hard road ahead of her.
Virginie left her home country to live in the United States many years ago to marry and start a family. She has been an incredible strength to her two daughters Sophie and Jessica though their tough times. Everyone who knows Virginie is inspired by her love and kindness. She would do anything to help somebody she cared about. Her passion for people and her willingness to love are infectious to all that know her. Now it's our time to show Virginie how much we care.
On the second doctors visit, Virginie was told she had one of the worst insurances in the country. After her mastectomy, and several doctors visits, the insurance has stopped participating in the medical expenses for my mom. Just radiation after chemotherapy will cost 45,000 dollars out of pocket, and her surgeries have brought her cost to almost 100,000.
Because Virginie works and plans to continue to be a part of her Home Depot family she does not qualify for Medicaid through the state because she makes too much money. Because she falls in this bubble, there are very few options for her in terms of getting her bills paid. Please show some love and support for her in these tough times. Anything you can contribute we greatly appreciated, and is going to the most amazing woman in the world.
Thank you all for your love and support.

I wish I could donate, but money is tight now...
Can only send her my prayers.
Hope she recovers fully.
Good on you for doing this for her.
