Usually you can do it with a real cookie, large cookies. Blow and the piece comes back that you bite off. I can't do it well

He's good no doubt, but I agree with Vinny, not hardly a Mickey Silver with those ROV moves and overall presentation but we all can't be everything to everybody. That said, it still looks good enough and magical. Mickey is much more of a showman and Ponta seems to be more along the lines of demonstrating. But if your audience likes it, then it works well enough. Enjoyed the ring on string the best, very nice from a wonderfully talented worker to be sure.

The ring and string routine is
https://midwestmagic.net/shop/item.asp?itemid=11432
It is one of Dan's signature pieces.
I drove through 2 tornadoes in Southern Illinois just to learn this back in 1995
when Dan lectured in Springfield Il.
If you watch Dan do it you will be utterly amazed.

Would love to see a clip of him performing in front of an audience from Japan. Does anyone know where this was filmed? I enjoyed it. Looks like Marc Oberon could have been the next one up.

Thought Ponta was caught in a rave lol. So much flash everywhere! And I thought he said that he only performs for magicians. Hmmm..., guess he had a change of heart.
