You might be interested by this real 9mm bullet silvered by a professionnal. The old little box belonged to my grandmother. I use this prop in different ways, often to tell the story about a vampire who loved to play risky games...

This modern vampire (9mm bullet is not really a victorian prop...) believed that if a day he loosed at his own game, at the moment he would be hurted by the silver bullet he could see again for a brief moment his reflet in the little mirror before he dies again.

It would work on a werewolf basis also, where his beloved held the mirror up after the fatal shot , for him to see the man once more, not a beast before dying
nice object though, thank you for sharing

Is there powder still in the bullet?
I'm curious about how they plated it. I don't know a lot about jewelry making but it seems that if they used one of the techniques involving heat or electricity that could be a dangerous combination with gunpowder. Only curious. It is a neat set of props.

Here is another set of props using the silver bullet for my version of Nu-Sense, a Alain Nu effect described in XXX Hardcore Mentalism.
Meaning of props : the innocent prey (some hairs added to the photo) / the hunter / the vampire (blood in the bottle). Ps : the bullet is empty... actually the powder has been replaced by a little... something !.. Click here to view attached image. |

Did you noticed that the relation between the props is the same as Rock / Scissors / Paper ?..
- Lady beats Hunter (he's under the power of love !..) - Hunter beats Vampire (thanks to the bullet !..) - Vampire beats Lady (she's under the power of dark fascination and a pair of teeth !..) Useful to perform a version of "My first trick" by Robert Neale (I use the spectators themselves in place of the smileys chips)and an adaption of Free Will. |

You just put the bullet in it and hit it a few times and the inertia pops it out and the head and the powder falls out. Then you are free to do what ever you want to the head with no risk. Just put it in a reloader press and press the head back inthe case. Don't even put the powder back in. You can also remove the primer quite easily also. You thenhave a perfectly inert bullet.
If I were to agree with you. Then we would both be wrong. As of Apr 5, 2015 10:26 pm I have 880 posts. Used to have over 1,000
