Here is the effect:
The performer after talking to the audience about astrological numbers asks anybody who wants to participate in an experiment to work out the astrological number from someone they know.
A paper ball is thrown to select a random audience member. This participant is invited onto the stage and is asked to sit with their eyes closed. The performer asks the participant a question that has nothing to do with the experiment. The moment the participant answers, the performer scribbles something on a business card and seals it inside an envelope. He hands the envelope to a member of the audience so it can't be tampered with at any time.
The participant is asked to keep her eyes closed and is now asked to think of the birth-date she chose (both the day and the month). She's instructed, when the image is clear in her mind to open her eyes.
The performer starts by correctly identifying whether the date is odd or even (much to the surprise of the subject), he is also able to correctly tell the participant the star sign from the person they are thinking of and finishes by telling them the exact date they are thinking of (without any questions).
After the applause has died down, the performer asks the participant to reveal their astrological number for the first time. The participant's attention is turned to the envelope (that has been with the audience member the entire time). The envelope is opened (by the audience member) and the number inside is found to match the astrological number that the participant was thinking of!
Notes* No Preshow, no impressions, the participant never writes anything down and the astrological number does not tell you the birth day or month.

My Chinese astrological number is Žl ˜Z˜Z it's also works?

The story explains it, the great thing about it is no one really knows what an astrological number is therefore there is no way to disprove anything you say about it (which is good because you can make it whatever you want and it will never be questioned).
The story is about a gypsy girl named Isabella, her believe (like a lot of astrologist's) is that this number defines your traits, luck and the love you will find in life.
This routine has one of the sneakiest principles (rather bold but beautiful) that can be applied to so much than just this routine. (the convincer principle).
Pythagoras once said (something along these lines). Everything has numerical relations and it is up to the mind to seek and investigate the secrets of these relations or have them revealed by divining grace.

Like Peter said the astrological number is a simple value you introduce at the beginning of the routine together with your premise (you can insert even a bit of numerology around it) and then the focus shifts away from it.
For the spectators the whole routine is more about a love story and astrology than anything else, so the astrological number takes nothing more than a secondary place.

Quite interesting... I have a personal collection of "astrological" effects from the best minds in magic. I wonder if this new effect is similar to other existing astro-wonders.
Is there any credit to other creators that we should be aware of?

I know the prediction phrase will work in any language. I think the effect should work fine you will need to make some adjustments but it won't be hard to work it out.

If the prediction phase is "too" bold for you ( but I higly recommend that you try it ), you can also perform it using utility devices like the new ( but old principle ) released Blackmail from bobby motta on ellusionist.

It's a completely different concept. With that said you can use both ideas together and deliver something even better.
The astrological number like Peter said is something that we've come up with and use under the guise of astrology (which is related with the routine backstory).

I would just like to offer my thoughts on 'Isabella's star', if I may.
This is EXCEPTIONAL for a few reasons, let me count the ways;
*The methodology is NEW
*It is a FULL, well-structured routine
*There are many wonderful subtleties and ploys working in unison. ALL of which can be applied to other effects
*As already noted the prediction ploy alone is PERFECT. A thing of terrifying boldness. !Cliche alert! THIS ALONE IS WORTH MORE THAN £20
*It contains the most important component of ANY performance...An engaging, emotional and intriguing presentation.
I could go on but I have said enough.
If you are aware of any of Peter's other work you will know the high caliber of his thinking.
I firmly believe that if Annemann, Dunninger, Corinda et al saw what Peter is doing with a combination of tried and tested principles and evolutionary thinking they would be convinced of real mindreading and hang their hats up.
BOLD I know, but I truly feel that people are pushing this art forward to a place where the line between reality and deception starts to blur.
This is some of the thinking that is blurring the line.

Thanks for the kind words, I am very proud of this routine. Me and David really worked hard to straighten all the kinks out, we tried several different approaches/ systems/ and we are so happy with this!
I am glad you liked it!
It can be used in a close up environment, numerology is also a very good presentational angle (the story can be shortened/ tweeked).

The addendum "Isabella's Star Revisited" is finished and will be offered to all legitimate purchasers of the original script.
Not I only did I completely get rid of one "question" to be asked, but I also eliminated any ambiguousity at the final determination of the exact date! You're always spot on with my version.
Besides, I added an idea for a more naturally feeling semantical a*****m plus a better justification/introduction of the "astronomical number".
