Anyone a fan of this effect? Picked up one today. Not a fan of gaffed decks with invisible deck being my only exception. Wanted to read what you guys have to say on this effect. Got it at a good priced but mainly because it fooled me.

Im sorry no. Its a deck with all cards having 52 different backs and you have two predictions .

Is this the one where you have them deal down and stop and "mark" their spot and have them drop the rest of the deck on top. Then repeat.

It is a good effect. Definitely fools people. Sometimes it is nice to take a break from the knuckle busting routines and just have fun doing something easy. I have a version where at the end the spectator puts a medallion on each of the cards they stopped at. One medallion has a square, the other a circle. When you pull out the predictions, they have a circle and square punched through their centers matching where the medallions were placed. Adds a nice layer to the effect.

The problem I have with the odd back version of this trick where they deal the cards face up and the backs match your prediction is that they may stop on a certain card and then in the end the card they "stopped" on has changed. They may notice the change and call you on it. I find for me, this trick works best with a regular deck with regular backs and performed face down. That way, they have no idea where they stopped and have nothing to discuss in the end other than how in the world you got it correct. Just my opinion, doesn't make it right of course.

Is this any different from the effect from 22 blows?

Your talking about Gemini twins, correct? There are several versions out there using some type of rainbow back.

This is that old effect (put out under many different names).
I've seen it put out by the magic shop owners as well where they made up their own and sold them in their shop a few times too.
I'm wanting a reference to the creation/history of this as well.

I saw it with bridge sized picture cards long ago (puppies flowers etc)

I would appreciate a solid reference/history as well as I mention it in the Spectrum Deck videos...
