By now we are all aware of Talk Like a Pirate Day. But what about his unsung pet?
And what about summer? Halloween, turkey day, and Christma-whatever-the-heck-you-call-it-in-your-house, all happen within a three month span. St. Pat's stands alone.
And then what? One day of fireworks all summer, and in many counties you can't even buy your own.
Well, no more!
When shall summer holidays and parrots have their due?
On July 28th!
Customs shall include gift giving and cracker eating.
You can eat your crackers straight-up or you can find creative ways to utilize them in recipes.
July 28th!

Give gifts.
Eat crackers.
July 28th.
Feel free to post your cracker recipes here.

Another tradition could be Hawaiian shirts if one owns one and is so inclined.
