I've been looking for "Professor's Dream" by Kelvin Chun. Anyone know where to get it?

Everyone has a professors dream routine, I have several. How do you know its an item for sale?

Took me a whole 3 minutes to locate this trick for you, it says right on the opening of the video the magic shop that sells it. Duh!!
http://www.dynamitemagic.nl/shop/index.p......_id=3186 This is 75 Eruo which will be $93.40 American. I am sorry but this is not worth that kind of money. It uses a lot of the moves with magnet ropes already in existence. Nothing new here to make it worth that kind of money. |

I know it uses magnets. I'm really not into rope magic, but this effect is perfect for one of my clients events. Dynamitemagic's price is quite steep though. I can't believe they are the only ones selling the effect.
Are there any other dealers with this? Thanks for the Dynamite Magic lead. Much appreciated. |

It would not be a bargain at 1/3 the price.

Magicians is RIGHT!! It is exactly the same as the Tenyo 4 nightmares. I really liked the effect and as I do a busking routine that is strictly a rope routine I looked into it. No I bought the thing and I love it. But look at the 4 nightmares from SEO Magic it runs $75 with a DVD for training. Remember that this is from Japan so the DVD does teach, but there is no speaking on it.

I bought an earlier version of 4 nightmares without a dvd, but I did watch the demo while I read the instruction. Both professors dream and nightmares rope effects are pieces of rope and gimmicks in search of a routine.

I bought two versions of Kelvin Chun's Professor's Dream several years ago to replace an older one that I thought I had lost. I don't remember what I paid, but I seem to remember buying them directly from Kelvin. All I remember is that the ordering information was very difficult to locate on the website. I don't remember the price being way out of line, though.
When I received the new ones, I noticed that they work a bit "differently" from the old one (gimmick orientation, etc.), and they seem to be of higher quality.
Things are more like they are today than they've ever been before...

Aloha,
I just saw this post and notifying everyone that my You - Tube video was hi-jacked and posted on the site shown. The company is using my demonstration video without permission. Thank you Clinton for the previous purchase. People can find me by searching for my name KelvinChun.com I have a teaching video with the rope too. I am in Hawaii and usually at the summer national conventions as a dealer - the past years SAM or IBM. These are the original TRIX Professor Dream ropes from Japan with more routines added that was demonstrated in the video. Some European dealers have produced knock-off versions too with popular magicians demonstrating it .... There is also a longer version too. Postings are on Fakers: http://magicfakers.blogspot.com/2007/10/......eam.html Sincerely, KelvinChun |
