Hello everyone!

For a magic workshop with primary school kids I am looking for very basic ring & rope effects.
The props are a 3" solid metal ring and a piece of magic rope.

I already checked the Klutz Book of Magic but most sleights are too difficult for the kids
I am about to work with.

There is a very simple ring escape that I already know:

Any feedback is very appreciated!

Why are you choosing a ring and rope routine? Wouldn't it be better to teach something simple using just a rope or string, paper, handkerchiefs, pencil, etc.? Something they would have at home?

Just a thought.

Really, if the Klutz book stuff is to difficult, the professional stuff is much harder, and not appropriate for young children. I have to say, there is nothing easier then the Klutz book.

You are starting off to advanced for these kids.

That is one reason they sell easy self working magic tricks for little kids. I have found, some kids in the later ages, can't even turn over a cup properly for the cups and balls.

Thanks for the answers.

The reason for this post was that I got nice rings made of steel for very little money.

Will go for easier effects...

Long chain, heavy Ring and gravity.. That's all you need.

No one said it would be easy, or did they?
