I am looking at picking up some new dollar size chinese coins...on the SEO magic website, they have dollar size chinese coin shells, regular coins, they have a super expanded set, then they have a thing called the Ton Onosaka Harmony Coins, which shows 5 coins total, and I think 1 is a shell...Do these do anything special? Or is it just a shell coin set? There is another harmony coin set on the market that does color changes with chinese coins...I am not looking for that...just a set of 4 coins and an expanded shell...so basically my main question is...Is the Ton Onosaka Harmony Coins a color changing set, or a shell set...Thanks in advance!

I think you can save some money if you single buy the Onosaka's chinese dollar size coins and the shell from Seo Magic.

The Harmony Coins are coins produced by Ton Onosaka of Japan with a different (wave design) on one side and Japanese characters on the other. They are very nice coins and are hand-painted, and they come in varying sizes from mini all the way up to jumbo. These coins are sometimes called "Japanese Wave Coins" or "Onosaka Wave Coins", depending on the seller.
As far as the dollar sized set from Stevens, keep in mind that most of the product prices on their website already include the price of standard shipping. The same set from SEO magic is $75, which does not include shipping. |

I went with Seo. It was 75...but I got the 4 coins, a shell and a super expanded shell. The shipping was only 7..that was USPS priority. I felt the extra shell made it worth it!

It says it's out of stock. You can go cheaper and just buy the coins seperate...the super expanded is alright but not great...the shell itself works fine though... |

This morning I put my new dollar size Ton Onosaka coins for sale on the Café: 4 dollar size coins with an expanded shell plus the dollar size 3 coin nest. retail is $102 total and my sale price was $72 shipped. It is now on hold. If that changes I will let everyone know.

I originally purchased the Ton Onosaka sets because I was curious about the quality of the coins.
Trooper, as you stated earlier, these are not Lassen coins. As long as you folks understand this, the coins from SEO magic work just fine. I performed charming chinese challenge with the Lassen Miracle coin set, and those coins look great as well. I have the darkened copper coins from Todd. I don't think he darkens them anymore unless you ask him real nice. :o)
