I've done many searches and read many post but I haven't quite found what I'm looking for. I'm trying to find the perfect Himber wallet to perform Bob Cassidy's confabulation in his Dreams and Devices book. The one pictured in his book looks perfect but he doesn't name the model. Basically, I want a thin sturdy leather Himber wallet about 7 x 3.5" to 7 x 4" that will pass as a checkbook when loaded with a check on either side, and I don't want to break the bank either. Maybe spend around $50 max.
I know the JOL wallets have great reviews but I'm just not real big on the look or price. I was thinking the Wayne Dobson Vision wallet would be good but they seem to be out of production. A Z-Fold wallet would work as well if it met the size requirements. Does anyone else perform this effect or have a suggestion?.. Thanks in advance!

Thanks this looks like a great wallet but it isn't the right size and a bit out of my price range considering I just want something for this effect and need it to pass as a checkbook case. I think I've narrowed it down to one of these two. Does anyone use them or can comment on them?
I know this one is the size I'm looking for http://www.vikingmagic.com/?nd=full&key=2023 Does anyone know the dimensions of this one? http://www.hanklee.org/xcart/product.php?productid=1915 What also concerns me is that each picture shows a small business card on the right side of the wallet. Does this pocket actually run the length of the wallet so that I could slide a thin checkbook in there? I can't tell

You know I don't actually know the make of the old Himber wallet that I use in that routine. But you can easily make one out of two inexpensive check books, like the ones they give you free when you open a new account. The advantage is that they may even have a bank logo on them.
