It was OK/cute. Is this a movie for magicians or the general public ? Is it made for TV or screen? I think the trailer gives to much story line/ plot away so not sure it would draw me to see how it all turns out since it seems like Stacy and Jason are together at or near the end if she is on stage with him. I think if I was not a magician, curious how you weaved magic in your story, I have have no desire go out and see it. I am just being honest here, it seems a bit film school/made for cable, rather than feature film. It seems to have too many "inside" themes about magic that a lay audience might not get.
For instance you chose a hot topic in magic to put in the clip, females as assistants. However your lay audience from that clip might know that ****ed her off but not follow the concept. I could be wrong, maybe you tested the trailers and they "got it" But I feel that is an example of not viewing the trailer from outside the profession. However if your target audiences are magicians, then they will get it. Good luck with it, M PS I ony have seen one of those live magicians so I guess it is regional. I am on the east cost and only recognized one of them but could not place the name. |

I look forward to hearing other people's opinions on it. If you like it, please like our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/desperateactsofmagic. We are trying to prove to theaters and distributors that there is an audience for this film. And to do that we need a lot of fans. Please spread the word. The Office meets magic. Wouldn't waste my time or money on it.

Just watched the DVD. I loved this movie. Nothing like The Office. Your loss Michael. There's even some good magic in it.

Any magic related movie, is a movie I want to see. Is like when I hear someone on the street say the word "magic", I focus my attention there immediately.
