Luna. A great experience for all my spectators !
I mean the french adaptation. But it remains the same, after all. |

For me, it's PHANTOMS.
Looch's AREA, Todd's Luna, Prof BC's DarkSpell & GH*ST. These are all wonderful, wonderful effects. (I don't yet own any of Vic's, though judging by their reputation, they're every bit as awesome). However, Prof BC's PHANTOMS seems to chime with me more than any of the others. It's partly the setting of Cambridge, partly the fact that it can be played pretty light as well as very dark, partly that it's full to the brim with hits, and also you can get the basic memory work done within a couple of minutes, before spending more time going deeper and deeper to learn hit after ht after hit. Prof BC also seems to go the extra mile with his Performance Manuals, describing the workings in detail, then scripting numerous different ins and a selection of varied routines, as well as some great ideas for revelations. Iain, I see that by now you've received your GH*ST. With PHANTOMS out of print, much of what I love about it holds true for GH*ST too. Is DarkSpell also out of print now? I couldn't find it on the Outlaw website. |

That's too bad. I felt DarkSpell was really unique. I won't be parting with mine, even for $450.
Probably should have have given Rick a credit with Luna (I own the 1935 hardback version), as Outlaw seem to have brought us most of these. I'm tempted by Pearly Gates, so may yet add some Vic 'n' Rick magic to my bookshelf. |

I have Reflections and Luna 1935. I use Reflections to demonstrate how one can be a receiver of another's thoughts. Then I use Luna to oblitrate any doubts. Luna has hit after hit and is as dark as you want to make it. So for me I would have to pick Luna 1935. So much information about the patients of CHMH can be revealed that it can be upsetting at times. And by using the f**** in Reflections first the dirty work is already done for Luna.

I've never done a book test! Been in magic since the early 70's, and never done mentalism, or Bizarre Magick. My magic is changing, evolving. The first thing I did was buy Walt Anthony's book, "Tales Of Enchantment: The Art Of Magic". That stopped me cold in my tracks!
No more "commercial" magic for me. No more boxes, tubes & bags that do nothing but make things appear disappear and change. No more "puzzles" for people to solve. No. Now, the spectator must join me, as we go down the rabbit hole...to a very different place! Book tests. I love the Outlaw site. Those look like book tests. I think they bring it to a level beyond the normal book tests I've seen. Lozey, you didn't say why your favorite is Dracula. I'm watching this thread in hope to learn a bit. Thanks, my friends! OK, my favorite BT. Seeing as I killed this thread (along with a dozen others, LOL), I may as well mention the greatest thing I have seen, EVER! The L*n@ series! Payday, I'm getting the three main ones, and then the following month, I'll spring for Pe*r*y G@t*s! It all goes together.
There are book tests, and then there is Outlaw! We gotta keep this on the DL, as NO WAY do I wanna see this on YouTube! Doug |

If you google Col#$y H@t¢4 a youtube performance will come up in the first page. It sucks really because this truly is piece that you should never see there. Best, RP |

Maybe you can kindly request Philemon if he could alter the title of his Youtube video. He is quite active here and seems to me to be the understanding sort.

It also comes up with the old sodark advert here on the forum from back in 2010. seems we need to keep the hard core items down under from now on.
