My new release Mask can be used in two ways:
As a method of secretly enabling a second spectator to see what was recorded, in an ‘i*****t s****e’ type of effect. Or as a full-page p**k in many classic one-on-one mind reading effects. Note: There is some construction, but less than five minutes of very easy work results in something which can be used dozens of times and which resets in just a few seconds. Get it here: (with the bonus Coffee Bean Conumdrum) http://streetnosis.com/wp/?page_id=1146 or for those with Lybrary commission to spend: http://www.lybrary.com/mask-a-peek-pad-p-192750.html Thanks! Looks interesting and certainly not expensive. Any who has this, care to submit a brief review.

Mask it's a great way to get a good clean full page peek right in front of the whole audience, great idea.
The concept of it when explored and adapted can be fine tuned for both close-up and stage which is something I really liked about it. |

I've just updated this.
New 'justification' for bringing the pad back around to the front when you get the full page p**k: An ENVELOPE! Still available at my Web Page and Lybrary. http://streetnosis.com/wp/?page_id=1146 http://www.lybrary.com/mask-a-peek-pad-p-192750.html |

Thanks. Glad you like it.
I am only giving away three to selected Facebook friends, but yes, maybe I should raise the price! Quote:

I'm not accusing of anything.
I was talking about eod. unless you are eod, there is no reason to take it personally. your reaction is very defensive I find... |

It probably says a lot more about you than it says about me.

I don't think so.

My feedback about the effect:
I got the pads, built the gimmick, practiced and tested it based on Reg´s setup and performance. The result after several performances was positive, it works fine. My final comments: Pros: Easy and cheap method to duplicate thoughts. Con: I don´t like the b..k move; so, I found an alternative method and PM to Reg for his comments. Regards! |

Thanks for the feedback Mind_Magic!
I'm going to look at the alternative handling you suggested. |

Since I love the X-Way pad, and was curious I decided to buy Mask. This is sneaky. While I don't have any pads on me at the moment, I'll be going to staples when they open to give it a good try. The additional method with a different pad had me laughing, because I haven't even thought about that, and was dumbstruck with a "well huh, I can make this even simpler" moments. All in all it's a neat idea and one I will definitely play with. Even if I don't use the exact method, for my 10 dollars I've got a quick and simple way to p**k with a notepad. Can't complain.

Thanks for the review Chaz93. I'm glad you like Mask.
Both styles work equally well. It's just I choose to use the first type because it's instantly recognised here in New Zealand where it has been a leading school brand for many years. Also, in case the behind-the-back handling isn't all that obvious in the text: My preferred method is to turn my back towards the spec with my hands outstretched behind me and ask him to place the closed pad in my hands. Then, as I turn around to face him again, I have plenty of time to do the necessary. Also, rather than removing the certain something from your pocket, you can have it positioned in there so that you can place the pad in there and then remove them both together. Glad you like X-Way too. Wait until you see the third pad in the Trilogy. I work all three a lot. |
